Welcome!

Welcome to my home on the web! Apologies for the mess, I'm in the middle of moving and packing crates are never conducive to calm and order. There's an update, a host move and possibly a domain-change in the offing, so for the time being this is a holding page with a little contact info if you need to get in touch with me.

This year I've gone self-employed; "portfolio careers" are very trendy at the moment, possibly because professionals need some kind of sugar on the pill of having to do more than one job to make ends meet. (Wasn't studying for years and getting into student debt supposed to stop that? Welcome to the recession!) My main business is computer support and training, especially for home users and schools. You can view my LinkedIn profile here, which concentrates on my IT work. My other avenues of employment include proofreading, horticulture and craftwork.
